Hey all. Long story short, my corner weights are F***ED.
I don't have access to a set of scales as of now but my thoughts are: lower the front driver and rear pass to 5.25 and 5.75 respectively. Thoughts? Will this work?
Additionally, any low-buck ideas to get the corner balance CLOSER to normal are appreciated.
FD = Front driver
FP = Front passenger
RD = Rear driver
RP = Rear passenger
That would be a good start. Realistically it'll be very difficult to get your corner weights right without scales of some sort. I have a set of Ruggles' style lever scales if you have a flat work area and would like to give that a go.
So I will update this because maybe some troll will find my info useful. Basically I was overthinking the whole issue. If ride height from side to side (in rear or front) is off by 3/16" or less, that is to be expected. This is per a friend that used to work for Heinlein Racing Development in NJ.
As the above comments stated-- corner balance is more important than getting ride height set perfectly.
I was trying to get my ride heights even side to side with a tolerance <=1/16".
With that being said, i have had success with getting CLOSER to my overall ride height by using the method outlined in Hot Rod Magazine's Article shown below:
