Hello Everyone happy friday,
i have a few questions about some things i want to do to my car that i have heard about. if there are any existing threads then please re direct me.
I have a 1999 Honda accord 4 door LX. 4 cylinder. it also is a 4 lug 4x112 i believe.

1. I have seen some of the forums about getting acura calipers and then buying nissan maxima rotors or prelude rotors. But i had only HEARD about a wheel hub/bbk conversion. I would like to switch to 5 lug 5x112 set up as there are many more wheel options, but i am not interested in spacers/adapters as i heard they put stress on other parts of your suspension system that normally do not happen. Does anyone know of a thread or anything i can read up on the details of what is needed to do this? or anyone have done it themselves? do i have to get hubs from one acura or can i find one with hubs with the brakes on it and use all of them? i heard it has to be an acura legend for the BBK. basically want to know if its worth it or if i should just try to find the BBK calipers and buy the new rotors and adapter mount for them. and would anyone know where to look for these?

2. I am also interested in swapping my f series engine for the h series from the prelude and i heard that the h series engine is compatible with my f series trans. is there an existing thread on this or anyone have exp? do i need a new ECU or anything else? i think i read that three of the four engine mounts fit and one needs an adapter of some sort.

3. Trunk hinges. I don't need a new trunk lid so to say and i have found some trunk hinges online but was just wondering if anyone had experience changing this part out? is it hard, do i need an extra set of hands? etc

4. also, i am trying to find the part number or name for the plastic brackets the hold your headlight casings to the engine bay/ frame. can anyone point me in the right direction? one of mine is cracked so i need new ones before i can put new housings in or retro fit my current ones, or i may be confused and these might be part of the housings themselves.


please forgive me i am not the best with mechanics or parts or where to get them!!!

Following also want to do a 5 lug conversion on my 99 lx 2.3 i haerd u can just switch the front hubs to 5 lug hubs but the rear u have to cwitch to a disk brake knuckle 5 lug hub and brake lines and e brake cable
