Default A/C Relay

Hello,

I have located where the a/c relay is under the hood, and I want to try a new one to see if that's why my a/c doesn't work before getting into too expensive of a repair. Is there any danger to just swapping it out myself?

Thanks!

No. If the car is off or battery disconnected, there is no danger to doing anything electrical. No electricity = no problems. Turn the car off and pull it out.

Even with the car on you wouldn't have an issue just yanking it, since it's only powered when running the AC.
