Question about my ef rear disc brake conversion?
So I'm starting an EF project and wanted to ask about converting the stock rear drum breaks to disc breaks. I've seen a few options but it seems like the best is to get the rear brake assembly off of an integra from 90-93. My question is if that then means the aftermarket parts for integras between those years, for the rear suspension (control arms, bushing etc.) would fit my ef? Just wanted to make sure because if that's the case i may just build the suspension myself.
You would only use the rear trailing arm with the the disc brakes, you would reuse all of the original arms that are currently on your car. At that point the only difference aside from the brakes themselves is the bushing on the rear trailing arm. The 90-93 Integra uses a larger one compared to all other options. Keep in mind the track width in the rear gets a tad bit wider when using the 90-93 Integra set up.
If you don't want to deal with swapping arms you can get some rear disc adapters from scarebird. This guy has a nice thread on it https://honda-tech.com/forums/suspen...tions-3252027/
