I have a 2007 2.4 Accord and the readiness codes are not enabled. This is what I research and I also learned that the owner manual says to run car for a drive cycle to get readiness code enabled. The CEL light flashed 5 times and it will crank but cuts off.

My problem is my car won't STAY started. It cuts off.

What steps should I take.? The battery was detached form the car and I am assuming that was/is the issue that caused the readiness codes not working?

If your car won't stay started, you have some other bigger problem than just the emission readiness codes not set.
