Default D15z1 z6 head ecurrently question?

Hey guys. I have a 94 vx with a d15z1. Looking at putting a z6 head on with a set of d17a7 pistons in it to raise the compression up to about 10.8:1. I plan on putting the following in...
D17a7 pistons
Z6 head and intake manifold
Z1 cam and roller rocker assembly
Header
P28 ecu

My question is when I put the p28 ecu for the z6 on will it need to be tuned/chipped for the increase in compression???

Haven't played too much with these motors before. Rebuilt my b16a2 and tranny....never should've sold it but....here we are. I want to have just a little more power and have some fun with a fuel efficienct car....nothing crazy...cheap and cheerful.

Thanks in advance

Have you checked for availability of those pistons lately?

Aftermarket seems to be around still. Now this is from the flawless ebay search tho.....can never go wrong with them lol....hard to find apparently? If so what are some other options for a piston to fit?

So I see what you mean about that piston being MIA.Ebay I don't trust but correct me if I'm wrong but a p2p piston should work out of a d16y8?

And with the increase in compression..will the ecu need to be tuned? I'm assuming so but not sure.

The p2p piston has too high of a compression height for d15z1 block/crank/rods....
You will be at 0.061 out of the hole...
