Default "Installed pads backwards" now LF/LR caliper seized! 08 tsx

Before you think I put the pad material to the outside, that's NOT what happened. Got new pads + rotors directly from my local Honda, put in new pads and rotors. Used brake parts cleaner on both sides of all the rotors, now here's where i'm confused. Below is a pic of EXACTLY how I installed them, wear tab on the outside and at the bottom up front. And at the rear I put the wear tab outside and at the top, Is that not correct? I used an electronic caliper to check both back + front sides of pads they wee the same within 0.15 of an inch. I took it for a small test drive and noticed heavy smoking from the left front, took it to Honda for it's RE-safety and now I find out my left front and left rear caliper are seized. I took them off myself and confirmed this. The right side is totally fine, tho they say they too are backwards?. I've done brakes SO many times before.

In my experience, the pads only really fit in one way. Maybe the brake job and the caliper seizing just happened at the same time by accident? I have had my calipers be sticky after a brake job.

On the service invoice they put it as "FL/LR" caliper seized due to "excessive heat & pads installed backwards". Only way I can see them being "backwards" is if the pad with the wear tab is supposed to go on the "inside" of the caliper? Yah that crossed my mind, the other side is EXACTLY the same "backwards" and it's totally fine, despite them saying ALL the pads were "backwards".

Upon further inspection, YES I did reverse them.

Now I've found a nice used 2012 TSX front driver caliper. The front should be bolt up and go? the rears are different, I know.
