Please help me diagnose this issue with my passenger side turn signal.

2010 civic lx sedan

- both turn signal bulbs are new stock replacements
- hazard lights operate at normal speed
- driver side front and rear turn signal operate normally, when parking lights are on, front dual filament bulb will light up one filament for the parking light, and blink the other filament for the turn signal

- passenger side front turn signal abnormal operation. when parking lights are on, front dual filament bulb will light up one filmmaker for the parking light, but when you switch the turn signal on, the same filament will blink rapidly. the other filament is intact and never lights up

Was it doing the same thing before a new replacement bulb was used?

If not, have you try swapping the new bulb?

 

check the bulb receptacle for corrosion or a bad ground. It sounds like the socket is corrupted.

 

yes exact same issue with old/fresh bulbs

i'll pull the bulb again and check the contacts/wiring
