Need some expertise here please. Just swapped a b20b for my b20z2 i blew a rod bearing in. Car was running fine when i pulled the motor aside from the knock. now i have power to my distributor (brand new duralast gold vtec distributor) on the 2 wire plug however im not getting the signal to tell the igniter to fire. Pulling apart the 2 distributor weather packs i have power on one leg of the 2 prong connecter but the big connector is completely dead.
do i have a bad ecu?
Coninuity issue?
Bad sensor? (using all the sensors that came on the b20b)
Just trying to decide what to do next without wasting too much time. This is my first Honda. Im a reformed v8 guy lol

 

Why not use v the sane dizzy from your blown motor
