High mileage service recommendations, 180k+
My friend recently purchased a 2000 Acura Integra sedan, auto. The majority of the service was done by the previous owner which was done regularly. No major fluids are leaking and everything to work alright except the engine is burning some oil, not sure exactly how much as well. I am looking for recommendations on what big service hurdles are coming up. She absolutely loves the car and wouldn't mind investing in the car to keep it going for years. My general recommendation are
-send in oil to after next oil change to check engine health
-check transmission
-the health of brakes, lines and pads
-check the health of suspension, shocks, springs etc
I understand components will age and fall apart over time but its very dependent on the previous owner, which was a Honda enthusiast wife

I think you are on the right track. Since you don't know the exact service history, I would add a few basic maintenance items:
A drain and fill of the ATF with Honda specific ATF (3 quarts), at every engine oil change, three times in a row, followed by every other oil change or two (depending on how dirty the AFT is).
New oem spark plugs (properly gapped), new oem spark plug wires, New OEM distributor cap and rotor.
Valve lash inspection and adjustment. You can check the timing belt health and mechanical timing while you're in there. Maybe replace the timing belt and water pump while you're in there.
New oem valve cover gasket and oil pan gasket.
Check ignition timing with timing light.
Compression check.
Check motor mounts and axles.
After figuring out the status of the oil analysis and compression check, decide on if you want/need to do any engine rebuilding. (maybe hold off on the gasket replacement till this part lol).

I’ve always been told that everything resets after 150k, to basically do everything as if the 150k mark is 0 miles. Mine is close to it but I baby mine(except when I like to here VTEC).

Grab a can of 4cly engine restore from a auto store pour it in after you drain the oil for a oil change then add the fresh oil on top, this stuff works guaranteed! I just used a can in my 2000 Civic and it helps with oil consumption and raises compression to restore power.
