Default Can I run a K20a in fg2 si?

Looking for some information about doing this swap. Mainly wondering if I can get a flashpro to run the K20a properly or if the flashpro is only able to be used for the stock z3.
Spun a bearing in my z3 and I have a full K20a here with harness and ecu from an accord euro-R. I know I need to change out the basepan and the intake manifold and throttle body for the DBW setup. I believe I can keep the z3 harness and just change out some sensors/plugs but I may be wrong. Can't seem to find much info about this swap.
Any help is appreciated, thanks

Yes, you can do this swap pretty easy. Swap the oil pan, intake manifold (you will have to cut it for the coolant housing or buy a modified or aftermarket I/M) and DBW throttle body... use the Z3(Si) engine harness and you can tune the car for the engine. I am not sure there is a "basemap" in the library, but if there is, a tune will be quick to touch things up.

Thanks man sounds good. Getting the engine prepped to go in now. Can I tune the car for the engine using flashpro for a 06-11 si or would I be better off getting a different tuner? Like when I go in to tune it, will there be an option specifically for a K20a type r or will I have to set everything myself. Don't know much about the whole process, this is my first time with k series as well

I just swapped a k20z3 with a jdm k20A. I'm having issues with the clutch not fully disengaging. New clutch, flywheel release bearing, slave and master cylinder. Since the oil pan is different and the bottom half of the transmission isn't supported, would that cause the clutch to not fully disengage? Can i swap the oil pan over from the z3 to the k20a without replacing the oil pump?

Your clutch problem is either bad components or improper installation. The oil pan swap has nothing to do with your clutch issues. You need to swap the pan so that you can use the rear dog-bone torque mount. It should not interfere with your oil pump.
