1993 Civic No crank, but will occasionally start
I have a 1993 Honda Civic Hatchback with a b18b1 integra motor and every so often the car will not crank. I will just hear a click and that is it. The fuel pump does prime when I turn the key. I have tested the battery as well. I can push start it with no problem. I have checked fuses, which they all seem fine. If I am able to start the car 99% of the time it will start again. Does anyone know what could be causing this?
I have tried to search as well with no luck.

Sounds like the starter is on it's way out or the connections may be loose. During the times it won't start tap on the starter's housing with the handle (butt) end of hammer or other object then try to start it.
Thanks for the reply, I'm going to test this out tomorrow, and hopefully get a result.
Bad solder in the ignition pigtail OR a "near" failure of the clutch switch pad in which case in a few more days or weeks, it won't work occasionally... it won't work at all.

Where all the connections tight to the starter when you removed it? My guess is the starter's sollenoid contact are in the early stages of failure and why it's an intermittent issue.
The other day, I just cleaned the contacts for all the wiring from the battery to the starter to make new grounds to see if that would make a difference, to no change.
The next time it doesn't crank, open the hood and hit the starter. If it cranks then the starter needs new contacts.
Just because it works at one point doesn't mean the starter is fine. The starter contacts inside eventually wear thin and they will sometimes touch and sometimes not touch when they have worn too thin.

Let's say it is my starter solenoid. Someone sent a link on a repair kit for it previously, is it pretty easy to do, because that seems pretty cheap, and I will take any cheap options right now lol.
If it doesn't work pick one up at a local junkyard or here: Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market
