My 2006 Honda Accord that the seat belt has completely frayed to the point that it was torn almost completely. It is not chewed or anything it is a complete tear type straight across. I personally do not wear a seatbelt so I have never used it but just noticed it this past weekend and was shocked that it was this way. It is also fraying in another section now as well. I have sewn it back together with fishing line because it is law to have a seatbelt in Maine.

 

Some models/years do have a lifetime replacement on seatbelts, while I believe others have a limited lifetime warranty. You're best off calling your local dealer and asking about your specific model/VIN. Also, wear your seatbelt!
