2001 Honda CRV Shutting off
My Honda 2001 CRV is shutting off while going down the road. The distributor cap, ignition coil, ignitor, plug wires, and spark plugs has been recently replaced but vehicle is still shutting down.
What could be wrong? there are no recalls on anything with the vehicle.

Well, after changing out the spark plugs, plug wires, distributor cap housing, fuel pump, and fuel filter it came down to the Main Relay was the culprit. It was over heating and shutting the car off when it got to hot. The Main Relay part and installation was 97.00 at an Auto shop.
If anyone has this problem with their 2001 Honda CRV, please start with the either Main Relay or Ignition switch. Now, don't think I wasted a lot of money because I bought my parts at a quality auto parts store and a friend installed many of the parts except with the Main Relay.
