Bad Axel Joint?

Bad Axel Joint?
I have a 2008 Honda Civic LX 4 Door.
I had my driver side CV joint replaced and when I went to go change my oil I noticed there was some dirt on the transmission underside, and some transmission fluid on the bolts. I did not see any dripping/ puddling on the group of transmission fluid. Upon review I see what looks to be grease from the axel head connecting to the transmission all over the transmission casing. Am I correct that the head is bad?
