D16Z6 Swap Hunting Idle/Dies
Hello everyone. I'm working on swapping my 1.4 dual carb sedan with a D16Z6, I converted a DPFI harness to work with the engine and an OBD1 ECU (p28). It fired up fine, then I continued building it and plugged more stuff in and now it won't idle well,
Starts out at about 2k then it does the hunting idle thing and when it warms up enough it starts dipping so bad it dies out eventually. I cleaned up the IACV, I dont have a FITV (later model throttlebody), TPS shows 0.52 volts closed and 4.52 open, brand new 4 wire Denso O2, bled the coolant three times. Any ideas here? If I unplug the TPS and start it, it keeps idling at 2k and it doesnt dip, very confusing. I've been told TPS or possibly distributor/ignition coil or possibly I'm getting a short in the dizzy wires since they are taped together.
