Second, random shop around town isnt qualified to work on a Honda. They probably put and AC Delco filter on and filled it up with Pennzoil.
oil light came on flicker then went off
turn car off then started again oil light did not come back on.
about a month ago took in for oil change and the local honda dealer and they said the oil senor was leaking
should be replaced 150 dollars later got car back.
note dealership has been sold so I am dealing with new staff, the crew I am dealing with are all new I am not sure
I trust them.
Before I spend another 100 dollars to have them diagnosis the problem my question is will the computer show a code to tell them what is going
them what caused it ?
its a 2005 crv and has honda had trouble with oil pumps on this model
thanks

Your post is confusing. The light didn't come on at all or when you restarted the car? Or did the light come on for a split second, but then remained off during the drive?
Also, it is not clear if you had the dealer replace the oil pressure sensor? If so, does the problem persist to why you want the dealer to re-diagnose it? And no, the computer doesn't data log for the dealer to tell why the oil light came on.
