Hey guys. So I did an EGR cleaning on a 2001 honda accord V6 automatic and now afterward I have that exhaust manifold sounding "clack clack clack" you know, when you have a crack in an exhaust manifold? Now I took everything about without new gaskets for anything kinda just hoping it would all go back together but. I'll be honest I missed a bolt when I torqued it down because it's not exactly easy to tell where it went and started it up to find it. Hopefully didn't warp it doing that.

Anyways the part mounts to the right side of the engine that the EGR mounts to, that looks kinda like a piece of a manifold that has a coolant jacket flowing through it to cool the EG's with the black tube in the way with the 2" O-ring. I've been googling and I can't even find the name of the part to order a gasket for it. I thought it was called an EGR cooler.

if you don't have the egr system bolted down then yes it's going to allow exhaust noise to come through

 

Yes I do have it all bolted down obviously.

to clean out the egr system, I took the egr off, found the clogged port and took that manifold thing off that the egr bolts to so that I didn't knock any carbon into the engine. I just need to know what this part is called!
