Default CRX INNER TIE ROD

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if this has happen to anyone before.

Bascailly wanted to know if any one ever experience there right inner tie rod unscrewing it self from the steering rack? Is this common and would I just be able to pop a new inner tie rod with out having the same issue as it´s really unsafe for it to happen while driving or would it be recommended to just go a head and buy a new steering rack?

Thanks!

there is a lock washer on the inner tie rod that prevents it from spinning.

obviously it is either missing or not installed properly.

take a look. you need to remove the accordion boot and look inside.

looks like this

yea, you hammer the edges flat against the nut so it doesn't unthread. Mine also came loose on the right side because i did not torque it down properly, or something.
