Just a really quick question about my engine harness
Got my used engine today and when trying to remove the old one i ran into a problem with the wire harness. I cant unhook those 3 plugs right next to the driver side under the hood .So im wondering can i still remove the engine without removing the harness from the engine bay.I can understand removing anything from the engine itself but from the chassis is that really necessary ?
you have to remove them from the bracket first, then you can separate the plugs
there is a small tab on the back side to release them from the bracket

thank for the reply but that's the problem they seem to be stuck and i tried prying them apart with a flat head while pressing down on the tabs but i fear i may break them because there so tight. So i was just wondering could i just leave them and just pull the motor out anyway or do the harness have to come out ?
Their are 2 clips to each connector one will be to get of the metal bracket then you can undo the clip for the connector. To get them of bracket you push the clip part down while u slide it of, yes they can get stuck but they will come lose. Pretty much what other guy said.

If you can't get them off the metal bracket, then they'll never come apart. I've had them stuck to the metal bracket before and used some WD40 to lube it up. Wiggle it a bunch then eventually it comes off the bracket. Then you can get the plugs apart. These might also be really tight so some WD40 on them too does wonders.
