Default Miikka85īs Civic EJ1.

Hello! I think itīs time to make a some kind of review or something like that about my Civic.... Because Iīm from Finland my english might be terrible and you guys donīt understand nothing. Anyway, I will do my best....

I have -94 Civic EJ1 Coupe. Itīs maybe nothing special here at Hondatech but here in Finland itīs quite rare. Our dealership offered only hatchback and sedan models when 5th generation Civic were on production.

I got a new exhaust for my Civic today. Itīs a stock exhaust and I was expecting a kind of quiet sound. Actually I was surprised how quiet my Civic is now. When the engine started first time with a new exhaust, my first thought was "Does the engine even run". Sorry about typos, there might be some of them....

Nothing special happened here. I just did a oil change. I do a oil change every 6000miles/10000km or less. My Civic has almost 140tm/225tkm on clock and I donīt have to add a oil between a oil changes.

Thieves suck !!! I hate to see damage to any ride that someone really cares about... they could have at least done you a solid and smashed out the door glass instead of the 1/4 glass because it is cheaper to replace. All that to get what... a $75 CD player ?!? Geeez. Sorry dude.

Wow sorry to see that your car got broken into, if you had a 6th generation I would’ve just sent you a free quarter glass for the shipping cost. I just started up my build thread on here too and I hope to see more of yours.

Yeah, I was thinking same. The door glass would be cheaper to replace. Actually Iīm not worried about the costs becauce I have a insurance. Only good thing is I don,t have to pay all of the costs by myself.

Wait, where is this EJ1 originally from? As in, original market. Am curious, is all. There's some things that don't add up to me thinking this was originally a Euro-spec car. North America-spec front corner lamps, glass sunroof, cruise control(?) switches on steering wheel. Sidemarkers don't quite look original for 92-95 Civic either.

My Civic is originally from America. Side turn signals have been installed here in Finland.

Thanks for an advice. I know the chance of finding a quarter glass for coupe Civic from Finland is minimal. Coupe Civics are a quite rare cars in here.

How many Honda dealers are in Finland? Maybe you can get the code from one of them?

The quarter glass has arrived and in one piece. The shipping costs were quite cheap. Tomorrow I will ask from my local car repair shop when they have a time to install the glass for my Civic.

My Civic has offered me a lot of trouble free driving after that the quarter glass episode. Of course that episode wasnīt my Civics fault at all. During this week I replaced the front brake pads and I think itīs time for replace the rear brske pads too.

Good to know! Be sure to replace the rear wheel cylinders when you replace the brake shoes. I say this assuming you have drums on the rear.

Ok, just be sure to replace those wheel cylinders. I have seen them leak after replacing the brake shoes.
