Hello. My 92 hatchback with a B18B and manual transmission developed a noise coming from where the engine meets the transmission. It happens more often when revving the engine, but occasionally happens when at idle. It sounds like a thin metal plate vibrating between two other thin plates. Here is a very short video, you can hear the sound at the 7 second mark.
More info: The transmission fluid was old and the level was low. I replaced it with 10W-30. There were no metal shavings in the fluid. Still have the noise. Any help with troubleshooting would be greatly appreciated.
