D4 ligth blinking 9 times
Hi everyone
I have an Honda Accord 96 AT,
The last week I was driving in D4 mode, my nephews were playing in the back seats and by accident one of them moved sunddenly to R with her litle foot.
Inmediatly the car stoped, after somes attempts the car started. After that de D4 light ins blinking, I pulled out the code, and is 9.
According to the manual is the countershaft speed sensor, I cheekedout the resistance as the manual indicated. But the results are within the values 400 to 600 ohms, in my case 570 Ohms.
I dont konw what is function of thar sensor and if its necesary to remplace.
Thanks a lot and sorry about my english!

Pull the sensor out and check it for any particles, and clean it off.
Sensor is magnetic if it becomes coated in ferrous material it will not be able to properly signal the TCU for correct shifting.
