Default Transmission/Engine noise ID

Hello, I have a new noise that sounds like it is coming from the area where the transmission meets the engine. It sounds like a thin metal plate vibrating. It happens more when revving the engine. I have a really short video of it. The sound is at the 7 second mark. Sorry the video is so short. I'll try to take a better one. Thanks!

1992 Civic hatchback CX with B18B manual transmission.

Thanks for the reply! Follow up question.
I did a few more tests. The noise wasn't present at initial startup, but after 20 seconds it popped up. It's mainly at higher RPM and when RPMs are dropping. The noise is present when the car is in neutral with clutch engaged and not engaged, and in gear with clutch engaged (didn't release the clutch with it in gear because car is on jack stands).
Based on that, does it still sound like the clutch could be the culprit?
Thanks again!

Most sounds like thin metal rattling are from the exhaust system, especially if heat shields are still in place.

There is also a piece of thin metal covering the gap between the engine and the transmission on the bottom. If it is bent or out of place, it can rub on the flywheel especially when the clutch is pressed in.

put it on jack stands and start it. have somone go through gears and clutch in and out, WHILE your under it. take the inspectin shield off your trans on the bottom. if you do and noise is louder...you have your answer .if its a shield you will find it. if its a shield just rip it off.

Sweet, thank you for the tips. I'll check out the shields this weekend.

Well, that did it. Got under the car. First discovered that the inspection plate was missing. Not good, but not the problem. Ends up it WAS the exhaust. Didn't suspect it because there's only headers, no pipes attached. Haven't identified the exact culprit yet, but applying pressure to the pipes quieted it down. Maybe one of the welds came loose. Just really happy it doesn't involve tearing things apart.

Appreciate all of the suggestions, thank you very much. It helped.
