Honda 2012 CRV MES Connector
Other than taking it to a repair shop, you would have to get the vehicle's trouble code(s) read with an OBD II reader/scanner capable of reading Honda SRS trouble codes. Some auto parts stores may do this for free; but, they need the proper scan tool.
The trouble code(s) will help narrow down the areas causing the trouble code(s). Sometimes further diagnostic/testing may be require to further narrow the cause instead of just parts replacement.
Was there something that preceded the SRS light coming on? If the car was in a collision, and the airbags deployed, the SRS unit and other related parts has to be be replaced.

The SRS light just came on a few weeks ago. I took it to the Honda dealer and theycleared the light and ran a diagnostics. I drove the vehicle for over a week without issue but decided to have the dealer do the recommended sensor changed. The next day the light came back on. I’ve read online that the connectors at times are the issue. I’m looking for a way to reset the light so I can trouble shoot the connector. The garage charged me $155 to change a sensor and want almost $800 to change the main control now.
