Default Stabbing the transmission

Completed the transmission removal and the clutch replacement and after getting everything back in order, we got ready to get the trans back up and for some reason, we've run out of space. It seems to be hitting the trans tunnel and we don't want the spline to hit the release bearing. We have a theory that the whole engine was tilted more when we pulled the tranny off because of the weight but now putting it back on we can't get that same tilt out of it. Any ideas would be great.

I'm not sure if you've already figured this out, but transmission/clutch work on an S2000 is immensely easier by just dropping/lowering the entire front sub frame.

Those are a bitch to work on with how close the bellhousing is with the fire wall.

Yeah, we ended up dropping that initially. But we were just exhausted and running in fumes. After a couple more days of working on it in the driveway we got it going and now all is well in the universe. Ended up being easier to drop the d4iveshaft bracket down and taking the shifter out to make more room for clearance.

thanks though!!!!
