S2K Trans. & Diff. fluids

Re: S2K Trans. & Diff. fluids
It's in my trans right now ('05, 64k miles). Great shifting at all rpm's when everything's warmed up, but the 1-2 shift is a little bit grindy for the first 15 minutes of driving. That's pretty typical for most high-performance gear oils.

Re: S2K Trans. & Diff. fluids
Ive been running Amsoil in the diff and engine for the past few years.
- At 130k miles I still pull 5 quarts out of the engine after 5k miles, so thats pretty good.
- When I replaced the Amsoil rear diff fluid after 15k miles it looked new.
- Recently replaced the transmission fluid with Amsoil. I pulled the 15k mile OEM fluid out and it looked great. Amsoil felt a little better then OEM but nothing drastic.

Re: S2K Trans. & Diff. fluids
Thanks to all for your recommendations. I think I'd be splitting hairs between them as all are high quality products. I ended up using Royal Purple for both Trans. & Diff. at the recommendation of a local speed shop. Shifting very smooth at most any temp.
