Default Radiotech's All stock B20/VTEC progress build

I've recently bought an EG hatch with a swap already done. To my knowledge, it is a completely stock B20b block with a GSR head all being run by a p72 ecu. Fuel cutoff is at 8300 or so.

I've done some searching around and some people say that you should be worried about revving the block that high stock? Broken rod bolts, spun bearings and all that. Others seem to say that in a stock configuration with no boost, high comp, or tune adding stress that the extra revs will probably be fine.

Since the swap is already done and in the car, is it enough of a concern for me to take the engine out and entirely apart just to put arp rod bolts and new bearings in it? Or should I just rest easy and figure it's not under enough stress to warrant that time and cost?

My old stock block stock cam B20 Vtec was nice man, loved the midrange of it. I was beating all kinds of 300whp cars with it. I revved mine to 9000 sometimes but I had ARP rod bolts installed. Im doing another one for the meantime before I begin my 95mm stroker and sleeved block setup in a stripped out 89 CRX. My stock B20V setup this time around with have some custom cam grinds I have and headwork from SlowSleeper here on HT, and I also have an Endyn intake manifold to try out. A friend of mine had a similar setup recently he tuned that made 208 and 151 tq on E85. He had pro1 cams and skunk 2 ultrastreet manifold and skunk2 header. it was a stock port head so mine should make more, but we will see what happens.
