rear quarter glass??
damn I don't know an answer to your question on the rear quarter panel glass but just be glad you didn't get your rear hatch glass broken.. I paid like $900 something because it was a large piece of glass and had the rear defroster lines and stuff making it the most expensive glass piece in the car (according to the glass/body shop that fixed it)....
You have to have a glass shop replace it, from what my insurance company AND the Harmon Auto Glass guy told me. I wanted to do it myself for the hell of it, but obviously I wasn't able. Did someone try to break into your car like they did mine? What's with that whole 'punch the back window in and the front window out' mentality?
thanks guys for being concerned, but thats not a picture of my car. Sorry i should of posted a pic of mines. I was just using it as a reference.
Back to the subject. My glass is in perfect condition, the rubber is all f*cked. So can i buy the rubber separately???

I believe the rubber part slides off the glass...the black part around is part of the glass, but the rubber isn't as far as I remember...
I had to replace that window on my car when someone broke it with a bottle...

nope this was a couple years ago and w/ a $3K+ stereo system in my car I didn't have time to shop around for other products and leave my car open/glass shattered or whatever.. I needed the rear hatch glass replaced right away.. called up 3 shops and got it done the same day....
yea my rubber and pretty much every early (94-96) teg ive seen is fade and peeling away from the car on theback corner, i want it fixed as well.
So is the consensus that yes the rubber can be replaced without having to buy the whole window?
