From: TRILLINOIS....WAY downtown, jerky.
eBay doesn't manufacture coilovers.
Which cheap ones?
Some are worse than others.
if your expectations are low...go for it.

yes I understand that ebay doesn't manufacture anything.. it's just that some of these dont have brand names.. but jus wondering if anyones experiences.. thanks
I bought a set. The brand is maxspeedingrods. Their actual website is maxspeedingrods.com I like them. They will get you super low, if that's what you wish; or they can keep you around stock height. Easy to install, there was only one small issue that was EASILY overcome. There was a tab on the stock rear shock I needed to remove to use with the replacements. Essentially, it's being used as a nut for the bolt. lol! Hey, I am cheap and didn't feel like riding 15 miles to the parts store for 1 friggin nut. It has worked perfect for the last 8 months! They ride very well for coilovers, not as harsh as some I have ridden on. A great starter set for a very reasonable price. I would advise to keep the sleeve sprayed down occasionally with some wd40, at least once a week or so, to keep them from rusting up too terribly. That's the only issue i've come across under use. I am still able to adjust as needed, when needed; just keep em coated. Everyone who has ridden in my car has asked what coilovers I am using as they are surprisingly comfortable (for what they are). For 240 some-odd bucks, I am happy!

I've had Ebay coilovers on my Prelude when I bought it and the ride was terrible honestly. Suspension should never be something you take the cheap route on. Spend a good amount the first time and have peace of mind while driving for long time. Have D2 coilovers on it now and its amazing.

Why waste $300 on garbage when for $600 you could have something decent like Progress CS2's? If you can't afford that difference then you shouldn't be modifying your car honestly.
yea ur right.. that's why if I ever do get coilovers I probably wont go cheap... jus looking to see if there's any experiences out there.. thanks!
They aren't as bouncy as most (cheap) coilovers. I've ridden on some pretty bouncy mid-shelf coils. Had a set of K-sports some time back that were pretty freakin' bouncy. The ride now? Still good. Had them for around the year mark now and they still ride like new. That impresses me, especially since roads where I live are totally screwed.

I wanted to update this thread as I have switched to the damping coilovers from Maxpeedingrods and linked below is my feedback published on their blog.
