Default Ep3 chassis dc5 subframe?

Hey everyone.

I have a ep3 with the d15 engine.

Looking to go k swap. Can I use a dc5 subframe will it fit??

Yes, the subframe bolts right up. You will need the lower A-arms as well.

The LCA's are the same, though. You don't necessarily need them.

If you are referring to the USDM EP3, I completely agree with you. However, the OP states that he has a D15 engine in the said EP3 (this combination is not found in the US market), so I would assume that this means that the subframe/cradle and lower A-arms are more like those that are found on a USDM D17 SOHC Civic Coupe or Sedan. These part numbers differ from the RSX (DC5) lower control (A-arms)... are they still interchangeable ??? What is different about them ???

The only real difference between them is the knuckle that attaches to them. The IT-R LCA's are different, due to being aluminum and having a slightly different ball joint seat, but that's not a US-based item either.
