Default 91 civic hatch build thread

im getting my first project car. 91 civic hatch no rust not dings looks really good. anyways what i am posting this thread for is im going to be putting a d16z6 in it and the only thing im missing is the mounts. this is a budget build but i will be alot of work into it. can anybody point me in the right direction as to what mounts i need. i will most likley be asking alot of questions over the period of this build so this will be my build thread. thank you

your stock mounts will work for a d16z6
you can reuse your old ones

so, the OEM mounts will work. i do not have any mounts currently at all so i will be searching for some 91 ef hatch OEM mounts

The only 1 minor thing. When you bolt the '91 engine bracket to to the timing belt side of the d16z6, I like to take the mount to the grinder to give the timing belt more clearance. It will be totally obvious when you get to this point of the swap.

Just reuse what you already have, you'll be okay. The original stock stuff may outlast that aftermarket stuff too.
