I was puttering around in the garage the other day and realized that one of the tricks I use to keep poly bushings from squeaking wasn't really well published. So I slapped together a quick youtube video last night to explain some of the details of my $2 squeak fix.

When it comes to anti-roll bar bushings, you don't even need to grease the bushing. Because anti-roll bar bushings are split bushings where you shove them in through the side, you can wrap the tape as thick as you want and it won't get squeezed out on install. My recommendation here is to clean the whole area really well with brake cleaner, wrap the portion of the sway bar that contacts the bushing with Teflon tape with a 1/8" - 1/16" overlap, pop everything together, and go.

The main reason I'd avoid using grease is that grease attracts dirt, and the white PTFE-infused grease that comes with those bushings dissolve Teflon tape. If you use just Teflon tape without the grease it lasts much longer.
