hello this is the first Honda I’ve ever owned i bought it not running, got it towed to my house, the previous owner said it had flooded spark plugs what ever that meant I asked him why he said it was running fine but all over the sudden it didn’t want to turn on so next morning I changed the spark plugs with new ones and I dryed out the spark plug well with a air compressor and it turned on I had to set my foot on the pedal to the the metal and then let it go and turned on left it on for four hours so I could take it to the mechanic and we got there turned it off and I we couldn’t get it to turn on again he checked everything there is fuel going into the injectors the pump is good and made me switch timing belt with the whole kit changed the coils and checked for spark and all good it turns over but it doesn’t start so last was to check for compression and it had close to no compression on the front cylinders and told me I need a new engine I want to know if there is anything I can check before I go and buy a new engine please !!
