The 92 EX sedan that I bought came with a spoiler from a couple crudely bolted to the trunk lid and wired to the brake lights. I'd like to remove it and reconnect the 3rd Brake light in the window.

I know very little about wiring, but I'd like to learn, and I'd like to fix this myself. Where should I begin? An added benefit would be clearing the brake light warning from the dash, it thinks the bulb is out.
