Default 1993 Del Sol D15B Swap question

So I'm purchasing a 1993 Del Sol. I have plans to do a B18C swap later on which I have another thread started in.

While I'm acquiring parts to build the B18C I'm considering doing a hmotors swap simply because it has 220k miles on the current motor.

Now the owner did buy a y8 head and everything but the ECU to do the swap. However, I'm not sure it's really worth it on such a high mileage motor. Rebuilding it is going to be more expensive than ordering a new d series.

So Hmotors currently has 2 different D series the 3 stage vtec and the 92-95 D15b.

My questions are this.

I'm assuming I'll need a new ECU to go with the D15b?
Also, will I be able to use the existing tranny in the Del Sol or should I just order the hydro tranny for an addition 295 bucks?
Any other helpful input is much appreciated.
