Default Anyone ever rent out a track?

How would one go about renting out a track for a small event, or test-n-tune session?

And how much would it cost? (I know every track differs, but what's the average cost so I know what to look for) Thanx!

Holy CRAP!!!

It's waaaay cheaper up here in Canada. For a test and tune the track owner told me it was $800 for the day, through the week, with 8 or less people, and you only get a starter, and computer operator. No timeshack person, but the printer is there, you just have to rip off your own timeslips, and that's about it. He said that the price might go up in 2003, and keep in mind you can only have 8 ppl. If you are going to try to promote, a money making event, it is quite a bit more expensive.

It's not exactly a money making event. More like a get together, but mainly a test-and-tune for a few select cars. I'll let you guys know what I can find out... Thanx for the help!

We looked into renting out Memphis Motorsports this year and they will only do it with a full staff and emergency crew and it was in the area of $6,800.

I rented Kansas City International Raceway this year for an import event.

The track rental was $1500, ambulance was $65 an hour, insurance bond was $350 for the entire day. It was great and I'm doing it again next year.
