A tree limb fell onto my 2006 Acura TSX about five weeks ago and I just got it back from the shop this morning. The shop owner noticed that the yellow triangle ! or ABS light was on. His mechanics told him that it show as a service needed and they could not turn it off. This was after having the battery disconnected for a long time during the repair. As I drove home, the much larger VSA light came on as well. I do not use an Acura dealer mechanic but a local garage in my town. What could be creating this problem now that did not exist when the car went in for repair five weeks ago?

 

Could be the brake lines (discobbected the sensor to them, or rotting lines), ABS solenoids, any number of issues regarding that system. Time to head to an Acura dealer that has the proper code reader. AutoZone versions don't work on that system car. You could try OBDWiz software with a OBD poet interface to also detect codes for yourself.
