A couple months back the VSA light in my 2008 Accord Euro stayed on after starting it. It eventually went of but would periodically stay on after starting the car. Eventually it now stays on all the time. I have tried resetting the fault but it continues to stay on. The fault code read from the ABS light is 5-2. I also took it to the local dealer who looked at it (for $165) and advised they receive the following fault codes 52-1 and 51-1. They recommended that the VSA motor be replaced and the part would cost $3,200 plus labour to install. Has anyone experienced the issue? Any suggestions or checks that I can do? Does the advise from the dealer seem reliable? The price for the part is very expensive and I don't want to replace only to find it was not the issue.

I have the same problem. After replacing the front left-wheel bearing I got the VSA and ABS light ON. I took my car to the local dealer and they suggested me to change the sensor of front wheel as it was already out (as they said). However, after replacing the sensor, the VSA and ABS light still keeps ON and then they recommended me to also replace the VSA module to make the lights off with the cost of 1,650 USD. They informed me there is a 50% chance that the brake will not work if the VSA module not get replaced. Could anyone give me thoughts?
