06 Honda Civic 1.8 Knock?

06 Honda Civic 1.8 Knock?
Okay I just replaced my timing chain and tensioner. I used a Haynes manual. I lined the marks up on the crank with the one on the block. I lined the two markes on the cam gear up with the deck surface and the colored links lined up perfectly on the special marks on the cam and crank gears. I also changed the motor mount water pump two axles and now I have a knocking sound at idle that gets a little faster as I rev it up. It doesn’t sound fast enough to be a rod but I’m not sure. If I was off a tooth on my timing chain would the special color links have lined up with the special teeth on the cam and crank gears.
I don’t hear the knock when the car is cold. I only hear it after it warms up. I read something about doing a ckp pattern clear and relearn would this cause this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciate.

unplug battery for awhile? do so. then start it. let fans kick on then let it idle for 5 minutes. that's the idle relearn..
did you damage a sensor when working?
did you forget to plug something in?
do you have any codes?

There are no check engine light code and I’ve drove it 80 miles The car feels good and strong and idol super smooth even a temperature and it didn’t start making a noise and tell I’ll put it in reverse this afternoon but after putting it in reverse it makes the noise in park in neutral and reverse and drive. I’m really scratching my head here

strange. for sure its in the motor? maybe in trans
maybe drain trans fluid you might have a broken piece of metal flopping around
you can buy a mechanics stethoscope for $3 to check where the noise is coming from.
I used one to diagnose a motor that sucked up water. checked head and block. noise was in block. had bent rod come to find out.

Okay Si when I changed the timing chain I also replaced the motor mount with one I bought of rock auto. Although the motor mount fit and was bolted in correctly. It was some how vibrating causing it to sound like it had bottom end knock only it wasn’t as loud as say a spun bearing. So I bought a new motor mount from advance with the Hydraulic fluid in it. Reinstalled it and the noise was gone.
