where can i buy a test pipe for my accord?
i think my stock cat is dead and don't feel like buying a replacement...
btw will it noticably increase hp?
will it be much louder(deeper/raspier/ricier)?
btw i have a 2.25" tanabe catback

It will be a lot louder and raspier too. I felt more immediate power and throttle response. As in when you step on the gas pedal and rev it, that little delay you have before the rpms go up. Mine now revs with no delay and jumps up as soon as I spike the pedal. You should feel a slight increase in the high end. It's worth it.
i agree, read my sig. that's where i got mine from testpipes.com. i'm sure you can have them special make one to match the diameter of your cat-back. i got the test pipe before the cat-back so i didn't get to do that so it's a bit smaller than the cb. yes it is worth it, well worth it. it only cost me $30, best bang for the buck so far by far. it will kill a bit of your low end though.

I would stick with a carsound high flow cat, it costs like $50 more, but atleast you are legal, don't smell like rotten eggs, sounds better too.
looks like somethings melting...
poeple with exp on his setup, were are the gains, not just numbers but, more low-end/high-end...
it is legal to have his setup right...
after testpipe no it wouldnt

The gains are in the high end. No, it is not legal but who checks. It will not come anywhere close to passing a smog test.
That melting stuff is grease leaking out of the broken halfshaft. This pic was for something else but it still shows my pipe without the cat.

it sounds OK. a little too loud and raspy for my taste but i care more for the gain than i do the sound. it isn't legal by any means but since we're all bolt-up exhasut it's VERY easy to change. the first time you try to break the bolts on your stock cat are going to be a pain in the *** but afterward, if you remember all the sizes of your nuts and bolts, with jacking the car up, removing the cat and putting the test pipe in its place, then lowering the car is about a 10-15 minute job at the longest. at idle it's a deep hum but as you clinb through the rev range it gets nastier.
