Hello I have a 2002 CRV and the other day as I started the car it started smoking out of the air vents. It smelt like sulfur and burning wires. Also as this happened the driver's window controls stopped working for the two back windows, the back right window control on the back right door stopped working as well, and my headlights, dashboard lights and overhead lights began to rapidly pulse, but not flickering on and off, just pulsing. It has 374k miles on it so if the fix is going to be costly I probably won't fix it. What could possibly be the problem?

 

My best guess is that something under the dash burnt. When my car did that, it was the hot wire for my security alarm going to the fuse box that shorted out and burnt....

There have been recalls for headlight switches and power window switches. Check with your local dealer.
