Window Sealing Issues, 94 Accord Sedan
Hey guys.
Real quick question relating to aftermarket vs OEM parts for the front driver side window:
The car has an aftermarket window regulator that even with me adjusting it to the furthest still does not seal the top-rear portion airtight.
The car HAD an aftermarket (very cheap) window for it as well, i replaced that with OEM and it helped with the sealing a great deal, but not completely.
Will replacing that aftermarket unit with OEM resolve this issue?
A few other bits of info:
I can get it to seal by lowering it an inch or so and then raising back to closed.
The window rubber channel is new but it doesn't sit flat against the window on the b-pillar portion.
The aftermarket unit looks pretty cheap, riveted instead of spot welded.
There are several good OEM ones at my local junkyard for 29.99.
