Default Anyone hook up a labtop to your prelude??

i'm wondering if i could use my labtop as a vfac tuning thingie mabobber? if i can what kind of cords do i need (4th gen vtec)

You can't just use your PC as a V-AFC. You would need some added electronics, digital to analog converter and analog to digital converter, something to trigger relays, I'm not good with electronics, but you would have to build the entire V-AFC except for the processing part, then you have to have your laptop on all the time.

To actually reprogram the ECU, you can't do it unless you go with Hondata, or replace the ECU with another programmable standalone.

that keyboard would get in the way it seams anyway yeah i dont know if thats the same guy but on hp.com there was a guy who had a touch screen setup with a computer in the trunk, not a bad setup, he needed to redo the trim to clean it up better but thats about it....

and yeah you need the top stage hondata to run a laptop for in car programing you can buy it from modacar.com but dont let them tune it for you, also c-speedracing.com is authorized distributor for hondata but be prepared its spendy

Mark Bremer sent me that picture of his car when I was doing a Haltech install. I don't know if he still has that one or not.
