Im new to Honda's and just bought a 02 Civic it keeps blowing ECU runs and drives just has no power and fans and temp gauge don't work no comm with a scan tool with a new reprogrammed ecu it will run and drive fine till it cooks that one where do i start I know nothing about hondas

 

Have you inspected your grounding terminals? Possible points of wiring shorts?

 

I just bought the car and drove it 3 miles down the road home I haven't looked at anything particular yet other then a general check over when buying

 

Wait, you've just bought it and drove 3 miles? The ECU is above the passenger footwell, behind the glovebox... are you sure you're changing that out?
