i have a 2002 accord that came with the factory f23a1 and when i blew it up i replaced it with the jdm f23a ever since then i have been getting a knock sensor code, put a new knock sensor in and same thing code comes up wondering if anyone else has run into this issue, also surging at idle changed idle air control valve, checked for leaks and nothing still surges

Did you do a compression test on the engine before installation? If not, I would start there.

Did you install new spark plugs and wires?

Are you using your F23 stock intake and exhaust manifolds or the JDM ones?

Is the Check engine light on? are there any other codes being triggered other than the knock sensor.

new plugs wires cap rotar, compression tested fine, using the jdm intake manifold and a aftermarket 4-1 header, only code in the system doesn't effect the drive ability at all and still hits vtec
