My car battery dies after sitting for 10 days
This happen last month (Jan) and now Feb

Dealer said all was ok and was due to normal sitting .....unless I drive it every 2 - 3 days to keep it charged it should be ok......

I have never had this problem and being a senior makes me very nervous I will get stuck some where .....can you advise me...

if the car sits for a while it does happen.

you could always go out and start it every couple days, or invest in a battery tender to keep the battery charged.

happened to me this winter with one of my vehicles... now i try to take it out for a drive/ or start it at least once a week

Thank you, but I could not go out to start it because I had the flu then back surgery

but I will try to go out and start it when I am feeling better.......this has never happened

to me on all my other cars.....Regards MJ

 

You should do a current draw test. Locate the circuit that has the high draw and confirm if within or out of spec. Then you have two choices
a. fix the circuit, if possible
b. remove the fuse, if possible or just while not in use.
