Default Transmission issue 90 Civic hatch

I have a 1990 civic hatchback STD
it's d15b1 4 speed manual, my shift linkage that connects to the trans has a pin holding it to a shaft coming out of the trans casing, well my linkage fell completely off was literally dragging the ground. I am currently only able to shift between 3rd and 4th I have no other gears nor do I have reverse, I am knowledgeable about Honda's but when it come to trans I'm at a stand still I have an idea what happened kinda but I'm thinking about ditching the 4 speed for a 5 speed and ideas what would work

You need to work out which part fell out, and replace it.

If your linkage came undone, no need to change the transmission, just fix the linkage...unless you just want to get 5 gears instead of 4.
