I am presently working on replacing the main bearings and connecting rod bearings on my 1997 Honda Accord, value package, 4 cylinder, non VTEC, 2.2L F22B2 engine. The problem I'm having is that I cannot seem to find the torque specifications for the actual main bearing cap which is one whole piece instead of individual caps. I looked in the Chilton's repair manual that I have which doesn't provide much information and I've also done some research online but haven't had any success. If there is anyone that has done this before or if anyone is able to provide that information it would be greatly appreciated thank you very much for your time and your knowledge.
