Ok whenever i make hard turns my oil light comes on. Sometimes it does that when i turn "normal" , so then i checked my car and its not leaking? I'm not sure if its burning oil but i'm gonna check my dip stick again to see if its at a normal level. Have anyone experiance this problem? I have crx si with b16 in it. help me please ?thanks!

A quick answer-YES it is something you best check out. An oil pan gasket is not excpensive-the time to pull it is something else. You can do this at home. There is a possiblilty that the pan is dented as mentioned or that the pickup is otherwise damaged. It is also possible that the oil pump or sender is bad. BUT-the only way to know is to determine the mileage on the engine and the condition of parts when you pull the pan. Antoher point is that as the oil gets really hot it gets thin and this can also be part of the problem too.

 

yeah, first check your oil level and make sure that's ok. then take it somewhere and have the oil pressure checked, that should tell you if your pump is bad or if the pickup is damaged.
